Volunteers in this programme could work in a hospital, clinic or teaching hospital either by supporting the local doctors and nurses or working on your own. Your work could include taking care of patience, giving injections, changing bandages, taking blood pressure, weighing babies, and contributing to education about basic prevention and nutrition depending on your level of skills and knowledge. Medical volunteers could be either studying or professionals already in the field. This includes doctors, nurses, EMT's, medical students, and nursing students. WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAMME FEE. i) DETAILED PLACEMENT INFORMATION: You would be furnished with detailed placement information to enable you find-tune in your project before arrival. ii) AIRPORT PICK-UP/ DROP-OF: You will be met on arrival and also drop-off for departure at the airport. NOTE: You are expected to communicate flight schedules to enable us meet you at the airport at the right time. iii) IN-COUNTRY ORIENTATION An orientation course will be organized to introduce you to the programme. The orientation course will be held on topics such as host family conditions, climatic conditions, safety issues, religion, culture and other related topics. iv) FOOD: The fee paid covers three meals in a day- breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food will be nutritious, healthy and locally available. v) ACCOMMODATION: You will stay either in a single room or shared room in a clean, comfortable and decent room either in a hostel or with a host family. vi) MINI-INSURANCE: An insurance cover would be provided to cover minor medical bills. vii) 24 HOURS STAFF SUPPORT: While you enjoying the services that we provide, we remain devoted to maintain your safety. As such, we provide a comprehensive staff support any time a participant is enrolled in our programme. WHAT?S NOT INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAMME FEE. i) Flight tickets ii) All entrance fees during sightseeing tours. iii) All extra expenses on transportation outside programme schedules e.g. food, alcoholic beverages, drinks etc iv) Buying souvenirs for friends/family members, nightclub etc. v) All expenses on telephone calls and internet caf
